New Student Orientation (NSO) marks the official beginning of your Pitzer College adventure. NSO is designed to introduce you to the many aspects of life at Pitzer.

About NSO

Whether you are starting as a new student in the fall or spring, and either as a first-time, transfer, or New Resource student, New Student Orientation is designed to help you get acquainted with Pitzer's unique academic curriculum and vibrant student life community. You'll also go on an Orientation Adventure to help you get acclimated to your new Southern California home.

What to Expect

Prior to your arrival on campus, you will receive a series of email communications with information from us. These include your Pitzer email login credentials, access to online courses to get you familiar with campus policies and resources, and a list of important tasks and forms.

Once you arrive on campus, you'll participate in a variety of activities to get you ready for life at Pitzer. This will include info sessions to introduce you to key campus resources, academic preparation and advising meetings, an off-campus Orientation Adventure trip, and other social activities to get to know your peers.
